ARE YOU A ROOKIE
OR AN EXPERT?
Con questo corso gli studenti impareranno tutte le tecniche, i consigli, i trucchi, i set-up e il mindset necessario per diventare un DJ professionista. Nei due livelli di apprendimento saranno insegnati:
ROOKIE PRODUCER:
nel modulo beginner, saranno analizzate le basi di un set-up professionale, partendo dai cavi, cuffie, mixer e decks, sia per digital sia per vinile per poi passare alle tecniche per mixare e mettere a tempo, ad orecchio, in modo impeccabile sia con vinile che con CDJ. In questo modulo sarà anche analizzato il mindset necessario per fare questo mestiere, la prima parte della storia della musica club e del DJing e la storia personale dei nostri guest DJs come punto di partenza e riferimento per costruire la propria.
EXPERT PRODUCER:
nel modulo advanced, viene data per scontata la capacità di mettere a tempo in modo impeccabile ad ogni mix, ad orecchio, e ci si focalizza su tutte le tecniche avanzate iniziando da quelle per mixare due tracce insieme (EQ, Filtri, FX, Loops, Hot Cue, Acapellas, Sampling, FX esterni), per passare a quelle per la costruzione di un flusso musicale adeguato (Playlist, rekordbox, scelta dischi, slot di assegnazione etc etc). Si passerà poi all’analisi dettagliata di tutti i set up dei nostri teacher, spiegati in dettaglio e dimostrati nel loro utilizzo per finire poi con la seconda parte della storia della musica da club e, parte principale di questo modulo, tutti i consigli su come comportarsi in consolle, come costruire la propria carriera, errori da non fare e come costruire un rapporto con le agenzie di booking.
Alla fine del percorso Advanced si entrerà nel PRO DJ Talent pool.

- The Drums are the central structure of the track. Usually, dull or uninspiring drums, can ruin a harmonious and otherwise successful track.
In this chapter, the students study the best elements of the Drums, and they will learn all the tricks and the principal approaches to making great drum sounds, and to define a complete groove with the right elements to support the track properly. Drum sound creation will also be analyzed, with plug-ins, envelope techniques and sampling.

The bass are the legs of the track. While the wrong drums may not provide a right support for a track, a wrong bass (sound bass or melody) can destroy it completely.
In this chapter, the students will learn how to write a successful bass line able to provide intensity, boost and groove to a track, “talking” with the beat and the rest of song.

In this chapter, the student will be guided through the origins of the synthesiser and to understand their evolution to the present day. Getting to know all of the control elements and the variable settings to create a sound from scratch or to easily change the sounds of already existing presets, to give them originality making them more related to the soundtrack.

In this chapter, the student will learn the characteristics of the Harmonics, their roles, main writing techniques, the theory and the techniques to the construction of the scales, chord construction and the combination of all of the techniques to write the right harmonic sequences.

The Track’s Structure can be defined as a speaker’s ability to speak for hours, keeping the same interest level. Good Drums, good Bass, good Harmonics and “winning” Vocals are fundamental, it is important that they are developed in the right structure to have the ability to keep the attention span of the listener high.
In this chapter, the student will learn the tricks and fundamental techniques to structure a song, you will learn the standard and innovative structures, the emotional evolutions and the instruments of the Synth, FX and the methods of arrangement to generate attention and interest. Prospective labels will note the listening techniques, and how to structure a track to also be “cool”.
